About Filmlab Palestine:

Established in 2014, Filmlab Palestine has set the goal of promoting and reviving cinema culture in Palestine, keeping in mind its vision of a professional, creative, and innovative film industry landscape. Filmlab´s philosophy is to create a new sustainable hub for creative local film production with a program that contributes to networking, training, and educating film professionals and talents, realizing diverse, high-quality films in general and content for children.

Role Overview:

The Programs Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs, ensuring they align with Filmlab's strategic objectives and are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that each program meets its goals, stays within budget, and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic planning and ensure effective coordination throughout program implementation.
  • Create detailed work plans and calendars for projects, track progress, and address issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Organize and participate in meetings, fostering strong internal and external relationships for program success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, ensuring timely processing and delivery of materials.
  • Regularly assess the relevance, quality, and effectiveness of deliverables.
  • Work with management to define programs' goals, set realistic timelines, evaluate budget constraints, and allocate resources.
  • Lead and oversee programs and projects, ensuring milestones are met, activities stay on track, and budgets are adhered to.
  • Write and prepare reports on project progress, outcomes, and challenges.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts by collaborating with the Executive Director or Board to identify funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the financial department for accurate budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Strong writing, editing, and drafting skills for project-related documents and proposals.
  • Ensure all documentation meets organizational standards and deadlines.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong familiarity with the cultural landscape in Palestine and the broader Arab region.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and ownership with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management abilities with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to navigate cross-cultural environments with flexibility and understanding.
  • Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and/or evenings as required.
