Georgina Asfour is a filmmaker and actress. She directed three shorts movies: 90 Days in Palestine, Neighbors, The Fig and the Olive.
Worked as an Actress, Assistant Director and Production Manager in: El Zeir Salem, Stories under Occupation, the Lanterns of the King of Galilee and other theater productions.
Works now as a Script Supervisor in cinema, on Palestinian and international productions: The Time That Remains, Miral, Laila’s Birthday, Zaytoun, , Stereo Palestine, Personal Affairs, and others.
Her short movies participated in local and international festivals; Athens International Film Festival, Toronto Palestine Film Festival, Boston Palestine film Festival, and others.
جورجينا عصفور مخرجة سينمائية وممثلة مسرحية. قامت بإخراج ثلاثة افلام قصيرة: تسعين يوما بفلسطين، وثائقي، 2005، جيران، روائي، 2008، التين والزيتون، وثائقي، 2011.
كما وعملت بالمجال المسرحي كممثلة، مساعدة مخرج ومديرة إنتاج بعدد كبير من المسرحيات: قناديل ملك الجليل، بينوكيو، الزير سالم، قصص تحت الاحتلال، عقد هيلين، محطات بحياة مارتن لوثر كينج، وغيرها من الاعمال المسرحية.
تعمل حاليا بالمجال السينمائي كسكريبت(متابعة نص)، حيث عملت بعديد من الافلام الفلسطينية والعالمية : الزمن الباقي، ميرال، عيد ميلاد ليلى، زيتون، ستيريو فلسطين، علاقات شخصية وغيرها.
شاركت افلامها بعدد من المهرجانات الدولية، مهرجان اثينا الدولي، مهرجان تورنتو-فلسطين، مهرجان بوسطن- فلسطين وغيرها.
