Filmlab: Palestine and Aarhus Film Workshop announce the call for Sunbird Production Award.
A jury of three international experts will announce the winner of the first Sunbird Production Award during the Closing Ceremony of Days of Cinema (October 17-23, 2017).
The winner will receive camera and sound equipment from Filmlab: Palestine, and post-production facilitation, access to colour grading and sound mixing facilities, and DCP copies at Aarhus Film workshop. The film will be picked up for distribution by MAD Solutions. Flight costs and accommodation for one week in Denmark will be provided by Filmlab: Palestine and Aarhus Filmworkshop.
Eligibility criteria:
- Eligible are short film projects, maximum length: 20 minutes
- Film must be set in Palestine or thematically refer to Palestine
- Film must be shot in Palestine
- Treatment must be available in English
- Project must be either at pre-production or production stage
Deadline is October 1st, 2017
